"The dovish wing took over, and it's disastrous for Labor," said Efraim Inbar, a professor at Bar-Ilan University. He said the party is "fully discredited" by its embrace of what he termed "the failed" Oslo accords.

You gotta love it. Note the scare quotes: "what he termed "the failed" Oslo accords" No chance that disasterous reality will seep into the accepted conventional wisdom of the WaPo or NY Times enough to make them finally admit that the Oslo Accords are dead, dead, dead. Oslo is an ex-parrot, but they have nailed him to the perch.

Labor may be an ex-parrot soon too. Wanna bet that Shinnui gets more seats than Labor in the next Knesset? All those Labor ministers who lost their jobs when Fuad bolted the unity government must be really, really, mad.
