On the national news last night, I heard Bush say that war with Iraq might be unavoidable. I came away with
the feeling that Bush said he was in no hurry to start a war with Iraq.

Every week, Bush's opinion about when he will attack Iraq changes so I was NOT surprised when I saw the
following article in The Guardian last night:

Bush threatens attack over 'lies'

Bush threatens Iraq attack over alleged deception by
Saddam

The following is an excerpt:
" George Bush has threatened to unleash a military assault on
Iraq if Saddam Hussein continues to deny possessing banned
weapons of mass destruction.

Speaking on the eve of today's Nato summit, the US president
said that the Iraqi leader had a very short time to declare
completely and truthfully his arsenal.

avoided the draft and Vietnam.

There were many wealthy Democrats who also evaded the draft.
