09:08 ET Analyst Michael O'Brien at SoundView Technology sees increasing evidence that the first quarter of 2003 could be the "turn in the order picture" for the semiconductor capital equipment sector. Subsequently, he raised the price targets for Novellus Systems to $38 from $31, for KLA-Tencor to $45 from $35, for Teradyne to $20 from $12 and for Lam Research to $18 from $15. O'Brien said the stocks could pull back following their recent rallies, but told clients "that those that need to build substantial positions would be well served to use that time to accumulate appropriately."
