I saw some other articles there. Looks like so far they have shot a doe, a horse, a trooper and shot and killed another hunter. Did they actually shoot any buck deer?

Ever shoot one of these [antlered does]? Uhhhh nnnnope. That would truly be an "Outer Limit" moment. But I did almost have an experience something like that once. I was way way WAAAAAYYY up on the top of a mountain when I heard a lot of crashing, like a buck making a rub. I got set and when the cow's head finally appeared, my mind said "buck buck buck, huuuuge headed buck, shoot it, no antlers, shooooooot it anyway, big buck, biiig buck with a biiiiiiig head!" After I blinked a bit all my senses were reintegrated and I fully realized it was a cow! Somehow she had gotten herself way up on a mountain where she just did not belong. To this day I have no idea how that happened. Going out in just a few minutes for the evening movement. We'll see what the Good Lord gives today.
