imo, the fact INTC included LMNE in the press release is probably more important than the transceiver, itself. it lends a sense of validation to LMNE's transceiver line and shows they are working with INTC. now, that being said, i'm not going to read more into the release than what's there, but it's nice to see.

oh, and duff, you can bet there will be competition behind LMNE. nice to see there's "Intel inside", though. <G>

All true Duff, but taken at face value the announcement bodes quite well for Luminent and MRVC.
