You think Turks are worried that Saddam might invade them? Not one tiny little bit. What they are worried about is that as a result of the "regime change" in Iraq, they might be left with a Kurdish country in the northern part of Iraq, which then will fuel the separationist tendencies of its own Kurdish population in the South-East.

Yes they are worried about the Kurds. But that doesn't mean that they are not worried about the stunts a nuclear-armed Saddam might pull. He might invade Syria (he massed troops on the Syrian border in 1996) to take over Syria and gain direct access to Israel. He might attack Jordan. He might try blackmailing Turkey. This is not a stable neighbor.
