I hear what you're saying about changing parameters. I'm guilty of that myself sometimes to make myself believe in a stock pick I've made. <g> In light of what you mentioned, several users asked about precious metals investing and trading. Does the fact that so many investors (and specifically technical analysts) missed the rise in precious metals or the fall in tech stocks call into question technical analysis? Or, does it serve to prove that technical analysis is a more valuable tool than ever?
