After the Bell-Hewlett-Packard jumps, Hot Topic slips

NEW YORK, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Shares of Hewlett-Packard Co.
<HPQ.N> soared 8.8 percent in after-hours trading on Wednesday
after the computer and printer maker reported higher quarterly
earnings that hit the top of the range of analysts' estimates.
The company's stock rose to $18.34 on Instinet after
closing at $16.85 on the New York Stock Exchange.
Hewlett-Packard also said it was confident it could meet its
revenue and earnings targets for the current quarter.
Shares of retailer Hot Topic Inc. <HOTT.O> slipped in
after-hours trading on Wednesday after a 4 percent gain during
the regular session.
The seller of music-licensed clothes aimed at teens
reported higher quarterly earnings after the bell. Stock in the
company fell to $22.75 in after-hours trading on Instinet after
closing at $23.22 on the Nasdaq, up 3.9 percent.
Shares of OmniVision Technologies Inc <OVTI.O>, a supplier
of semiconductor imaging devices, rose after the company on
Wednesday said it swung to second-quarter profit from a loss a
year ago and also forecast a third-quarter profit.
The stock climbed to $13.35 after closing at $12.16 on the
Nasdaq.
International Business Machines <IBM.N> rose to $82.02 in
extended trading after rising 4 percent during the regular
session to close at $81.61.
