Mucho: Dividends? Why? Cisco decision makes sense as of now - although if the Congress changes the rules on double taxation of dividends - the current absurd practice - perhaps Cisco (and Qualcomm) will change and pay out dividends. Right now under current tax law, that would be stupid IMO.

Until we get back to $60 and are moving up, I should be silent, no?

But, there is a time for thinking about the future.

Do you actually think that we are either doomed or in a no growth situation?

Sure Iraq and terrorism are out there as major shocks which not only may but in all likelihood will happen.

So is the best approach to hold cash or money markets - bonds are clearly not the greatest - since when interest rates rise, their price goes down.

So what to do, curious what you suggest.
