I say very little about all the little things I observe. They entertain me, and most people would only argue about them, so what's the point in sharing? I think you mean "affect" me. "It was used to effect you" really doesn't work. You may use something for effect, but when you seek to touch the emotions of someone else, you need to use affect. I find it odd that you would be embarrassed for me that someone else tried to manipulate me, and failed. Were you embarrassed for me when you tried to manipulate me? Or does your vicarious embarrassment only extend to cases of attempted manipulation by CH?
