New Labour leader picks the path of peace :

Hamas: Mitzna's election changes nothing
By THE JERUSALEM POST INTERNET STAFF

The election of Amram Mitzna as chairman of the Labor Party late Tuesday night made no difference to Middle East politics, a spokesman for Hamas in the Gaza Strip said.

Hamas, which has been behind many of the suicide attacks against Israel, dismissed Mitzna, saying it made no difference who led the government, Labor or Likud.

"Our resistance will continue until we liberate our land and end this occupation. No matter who is inside the government of Israel, all of them are practicing brutal aggression against our people," Mahmoud Zahar, a Hamas spokesman in Gaza, said.
