The observation was rhetorical. It seems to me Sharpton gets more face time that everybody else combined. It was to make the point that you donot see the hundreds of thousands of good clergy in America. In places where the state has a vested interest in what the message is, who would one hear. #reply-18253905 I had also heard that in Iran on 911 the people spontaneously came into the streets and held candle light vigils in mourning. The people of Iran seem to want to throw out the theocracy. What message do you expect from those clerics. In a poll 70% of the people of Iran wanted better relations with the US. The favorite show in Iran is Baywatch that is had by satelite. Why do those who control by subverting religion hate America? It's clear to me. To all who lead with no real solutions ot offer, a losing battle of control says user whatever to control the mind. What is in the best interest of those in charge is maintaining the status quo.
