Judging from the past actions of humankind, I'd say that misery and grief swamp must have its attractions. :-)

have always been, still am, and will be, until the end of time... an optimist.. There are lots of threads here on SI that will make you very happy, then. You get to exercise your optimism by investing in all sorts of tiny start-up companies that, optimistically, will make you millions. Or billions. Just read the threads. Good luck on your investments. If you want a few hints as to where to start, I'll be glad to provide a few links to stocks where an optimistic attitude will enable you to dream of riches untold.
