You repeat well the US administration's words as quoted by the mainstream American media Bill. I am surprised you do not mention "evildoers".

In response, I guess I should repeat the mainstream European media <yawn> :

>>Containment kept him from attacking, but not developing.

You do NOT know that. There is no proof to your statement that Iraq has been developing WMDs. If Saddam had a mind to attack, trust me, a few US planes over his head would hardly stop him from sending a nuke here and there.

>>We Cannot keep up the "Containment."

Yes, we can. The question is whether or not we SHOULD. And if the inspectors do not find anything worrisome, it probably will, eventually.

>>Too many "Euro" Countries, including France, have been ignoring it.

What is this "it" that everyone has been ignoring except the vigilante US of A? Are you aware of the fact that Saddam was not even a fifth page item up until a couple of months ago when Afghanistan was done and the US administration started looking around for other targets? Has the US not been "ignoring it" until then? Why do you think this sudden snap to "My God, he's got WMDs and he even tried to kill my daddy!" is upon us all of a sudden?

>>And he is too close to WMD.

Again, you don't know that. In fact, nobody knows whether or not Saddam has WMDs. All we know is that he seems to have lost his ambitions to use them. Until Bush decided to invade his country and kill him, in complete violation of every international law known to man regarding the sovereignty of other countries and the inacceptability of attacking without imminent danger to one's own country.

We will all see just how wise that was.
