I agree with Daschle. When you listen to republicans or read them here, they are merely parrotting everything Rush says. It's all Clinton's fault and everything that Bush does wrong will BE Clinton's fault. It's only Bush's responsibility when he does something right. He's done nothing right.

BTW, What is so idiotic about folks who propound Rush rhetoric and then vote for Bush is Rush actually has nothing but contempt for Bush. He delivered a scathing speech on Yale/Harvard grads with old money who snub folks like him, nouveau riche boorish louts. He's a liar and a con artist who somehow managed to rise above his level which is carnival barker.

In fact, "know your enemy" would have been a smart thing for Daschle to have done. It's only possible to listen to that lying windbag Limbaugh for ten minutes at time, but he says the same things repeatedly. Just like soap operas, Rush keeps harping on the same issues until his ignorant followers chant it like a mantra, therefore one ten minute listen up a week would have clued Daschle into the Rush agenda. Those who listen to him still think Clinton is running things in DC. If they don't have a job, it's Clinton's fault and NOT the fault of the current admin that advocates offshore banking for big business and thinks of Kenneth Lay is a role model, having used his energy model as our energy policy.

But I digress. In fact, Rush was bragging that the White House (Cheney's gang) called and wanted to use his rhetoric as part of its campaign. Well, when you have mindless automatons who agree with this idiot hearing the same crap emanating from the White House, it simply reinforced the bogus notion that Rush has any integrity. He doesn't. But the Republicans mounted a last minute Rush attack campaign which the Dems were too dumb to notice or lend credence to and they failed to pull a majority. Now fortunately, there is hope for America. For even though the Republicans have the House Senate and WH, they didn't win by a landslide. There are still thinking, reasoning individuals in this country who aren't buying into the Rush pigslop, and those who do may be thinking and reasoning as well. They just need to be deprogrammed.
