Reasons why the tech rally can last The worse that Asia and Europe markets look, the more appealing is the US esp having a better history China is doing well and seems actually to be implementing wireless networks with Qcom gear. They could prefer to wash clothes by hand and talk on the phone- opting for the phone rather than a washing machine. Tech companies have hordes of cash (msft, csco, dell) and sales plus income in the multi-billions. Other companies work hard for $100mm, $250mm in sales with 8% profit. How can you increase the appeal, price or value of sweaters and shorts through advanced technology? Defense stocks are risky , volatile and possibly overpriced. Safe haven stocks have not proved to be a safe as they appeared 6 months ago.
