I just LOVE pretty-pink revisionist history! It's so fanciful... it puts Disney to shame.

I'm sure the entire historical tide of anti-colonialism could have been reversed... if we'd only abandoned Democracy as a guiding principle... and committed ourselves to the idea of spilling enough blood and national treasure over a sufficiently long period of time.
