I am sure you understand that there are grievances on both sides of this conflict, and that time has shown us that the absence of mediation and the hope of an agreement creates fertile ground for violence....on both sides. It is beyond me how you can rationalize the killing of little children with a statement like this. It isn't the Israelis who are TARGETING children and other innocents. That fact, taken alone, is sufficient to know which side is the more righteous.

That's it. Your nobility of purpose is a couple of grievances. Gee, I can't afford a Porsche Boxster. Would that mean I would have a noble purpose if I knocked off several banks so I could afford one? How about eliciating a noble purpose which can justify the means. And don't give me that homeland crap. The Palestinians never, in their long history ever had a legitimate homeland, so what right do they have to a state now. Yes the UN said they were going to help Palestinians get their homeland, but when offered one, the latest being in 1999, Arafat turned the homeland down. Simply put, the main goal of the Arabs is to use the homeland issue to drive the Jews back into the sea. What kind of nobility of purpose does that have?
