None of my recent sells were held more than a year. I don't have the patience that you or most other good value investors have. The only stocks I seem to be able to hold longer are companies I really like (e.g., CAKE) and I still trade in and out of those. Also, I'm still holding plenty of losers - partly the biotechs I bought last summer. I haven't done any new buying recently.

Paul, "parting with dogs" and not only... Saw a recent article on GTSI and looked at the chart. This is the dog that James Clarke recommended, we bought and flipped in the Linux craze of early y2k. Looks like we'd been better off holding... James, are you still holding? :-))) Jurgis - who sold all the wrong stocks at the wrong times

Adding a bit more today to BAMM, an old thread favorite. I re-looked at the numbers, and I was wrong about BAMM being a Ben Graham net-net at current price. It's iffy (imo) if BAMM will be profitable for the year (upcoming Q is the big one), and BAMM has lots of dollar exposure from their operating leases (which look to me to be off the balance sheet). Still, I don't see BAMM going BK, and if BAMM can hold its share of book sales, I expect to see a reasonable move in the stock again with 12-18 months... not as good a move from when those here first bought, but okay for me nonetheless.
