We are at that time of the year that normally has a positive tone, perhaps running through the first day or two of January. There will be a partial correction of the advance in time. If the economy is really on the mend, the coorection, when it happens, may be short-lived.

There is no need to argue with the permabulls. I would like to join the bulls, but APCC is now overvalued and strongly overbought. The weekly chart stockcharts.com[w,a]waclyyay[pd20,2!b50][vc60][iUb14!Lh14,3]&pref=G shows unusual 7 full up-weeks without a breather. At least a technical correction is in the books.

I´m thinking about taking a temporary short position @ 16.50$ tomorrow. Target 14$ . Seems too low? Yes, but this is only a 33% retrace. Target 12.83$ would be a 50% retrace, which is more appropriate after such an incredible run. Don´t forget: traders lock in their profits before the weekend.

If you want to stay long, selling covered calls could be a good idea. The December 15 call should expire worthless and gives around 1.50$ premium.

Hi,
My first purchases of APCC were at $8.00 seven years ago. I later bought many more shares at $4.50. These are split adjusted prices. I have traded the stockcontinuoously for the last seven years and made lots of money.
GE also raised its dividend yesterday. You didn't respond to my last post, but I will reiterate. I'm willing to bet APCC hits $17 before it hits.... Hmmm now what was it you said $9 or was it seven. Paul was kind of silent about his prediction that it would hit $5. He didn't actually say that, but when it hit $10 he said it would be cut in half. That was pretty bold don't you think? He didn't short it then. Perhaps he will short it when it hits $16.50.
