There should be a "Emergency Stop" button for government we should be able to hit, until we Washington officials cough up some real explanation on these numbers. Instead it's all the same nonsense as Nixon's ("the national debt is just metaphysical"), or Reagan (his budget director David Stockman called "voodoo economics", repeated later disengenuously by Bush Senior) -- i.e., complete willful unaccountability, and outright lies by government officials, and wanna-be government officials. korpios.org
