I wasn't thinking of a fundamental basis
for the recent rise, but those are some valid reasons.

I completely agree about some fear being (wrongly) removed from the market. The VIX might agree, too.

MM, whether it relates to markets or to terrorism – human nature is the same. We tend towards complacency. Markets are up – we buy calls; markets down – we’re al bears… (present company excepted). Give us a few terror-free months, and we all begin to discount the danger.

Whay not?
With all the downgrades etc in, can INTC CSCO or AMAT or anyone have to warn again?

BRCD managed but will there be more?

If INTC reports good new or AMAT reports good news next Q what happens?

M
