shorting from nov to jan is out of sync with major market cycles. Fortunately my model didn't go to a short position, just to cash. It is very close to signaling me to go short though and another real strong day or two will probably get it there. Risky as it may be this time of year, I'll follow the model as it is doing its job this year up 30% so far and has outperformed the QQQ by 60% (qqq is down 30% year to date). Of course, that good track record so far this year may mean it is now due to screw up! Tom
