I suspect that you have never met any of the ME people when you make comments like you did.

While I've not been to the ME (and have no plans to do so), I've known many people from ME countries over the years. These people hardly play into my remarks, however.

I'm thinking about the interviews on 60 minutes of Islamic teenagers (attending school in NYC) who have been brought up to believe suicide bombing is not only acceptable, but desirable. I'm thinking about the kind of people who will send their own children off to murder as many innocent Israeli children as they can.

This is a product of a sick culture, and there is no sugar coating of it. You can say what you wish about my remarks; but you can't change the fact that these "people" are creating a race of cold-blooded killers. It is a matter of time before the homocide bomber mentality makes its way to this country.

It is sick, and I hope the Israelis use the most extreme violence possible to fight it, because nothing else will work; I don't believe they can comprehend anything else.

"A country full of terrorists and people who only wait for the right time to rob you". That's how Syria is pictured world-wide by people who either know nothing about the country at all, or who do, but who have personal gain by giving it a bad name. That's very unfortunate for the folks living there, because it's totally wrong

I do believe that it (that the country is a seething mass of terrorists and thieves) is wrong. But if 1 out 4 dislikes Americans, 1 out of 50 strongly hates Americans, and 1 out of 100,000 is a terrorist then it is still a problem.

Even if the people mostly do not dislike Americans the government sponsors terrorism.
