Members of Hamas are not fools, and Hamas does much that is good. However, as I have been saying for months, a cease-fire is the immediate goal.

Yet because Hamas seems unwilling to unite under a single leader for ALL Palestinians, I’m beginning to believe that Hamas would rather selfishly protect their own small piece of the “pie”, rather than help to make the “pie” bigger for ALL Palestinians. I also believe that members of Hamas have seen the evidence of God’s will, but continue to kill Jews because it is the easy path, but the easy path is not the correct path IMO.

If Hamas and Islamic Jihad cannot unite with Chairman Arafat because it is a matter of principle, then they should demand that Chairman Arafat name a Prime Minister that is acceptable to all of the fighters. In my opinion, ANY Palestinian that can unite ALL of the fighters will be able to bring about a virtually immediate Palestinian nation
