yup, they certainly are. They are saying that we have a safety net. What better way to build investor confidence. I'm sure that in a year, Greenie will be breaking out the irrational exuberance speech...of course he won't acknowledge his part in creating it.....again. I am going to have to go back and read some of his writings from when he was hanging out with the objectivist crowd. I kinda thought that he was a free market kinda dood. Instead, he seems to be the biggest interventionist around. I keep on thinking of those unintended consequences.
