Do you believe that since Republicans are in control now, we can expect everything to quickly get much better? With the republicans in charge we will now get a prescription plan for elderly. This will jump start the 2004 presidential race for Bush... and leave democrats behind.

No, Republicans like to lay the foundation for a strong nation both Militarily and Economically. This takes time. I wouldnt expect anything quickly, there are no quick fixes for a nation of this size. However, IF we were to have a successful conclusion to the Iraqui thing and a decent govt. installed there that would work together to find peace in the middle east we could see a very fast improvement in the worlds financial markets and drop in cost of fuel. JDN
