<< We have to admit that both sides have done inhuman acts of violence against civilians. >>

That is a lie. You cannot compare Israeli actions of self defense with Arab murderers acts of targetting innocent civilians with bombs containing nuts and bolts and nails and rat poison.

<< Can you honestly and with a straight face say this is what Israeli state did when they dropped a bomb on a guy's house with children and women inside? >>

The terrorists hide among their own civilians. They care not whether the victims are their own children, otherwise they wouldn't use Arab children as their shields.

Israel's bombing of the building housing terrorists, which happened to also have civilians in it, was an isolated incident, and was a problem of intelligence failure more than deliberately targetting civilians.

<< Israel deliberately kills civilians. >>

This is nonsense. If there was peace between Israel and the Arabs, Israel would be providing assistance and jobs to the Arabs. During peaceful times, Israel has never sent hit squads to deliberately kill Arab civilians. During Israelis long history, Israel has never deliberately targetted civilians, and has ONLY acted in self defense.

<< The only way to an eventual solution to Isr/Pal problem is to try and understand why each side is doing what they are doing. >>

Most of the Arab states have never recognized Israel's right to exist. They teach hatred of, not only Jews, but of Christians also, in their schools. There have been five Arab wars, against Israel, in order to totally destroy Israel.

I know why Israel is defending itself against Arab terrorism. I don't know why there are no peace makers in the Arab world.

If you can't understand why Israel is defending itself against terrorism, you probably, also, have problems understanding why America is defending itself against terrorism.

Noted Israeli military analyst Zeev Schiff interviewed Israeli General Mordechai Gur, and asked him about the reported practices of the Israeli army. A shocked Schiff gives his summary of Gur's response:

"In South Lebanon we struck the civilian population consciously, because they deserved it . . .the importance of Gur's remarks is the admission that the Israeli Army has always struck civilian populations, purposely and consciously . . . the Army, he said, has never distinguished civilian [from military] targets . . . [but] purposely attacked civilian targets even when Israeli settlements had not been struck."

During the "quiet period" (i.e. no Palestinian attacks on Israelis):

<<< Sixty one Palestinians were killed by the Israeli army and militants settlers in the month of August alone. Those include Nivin Salmi, 3, Aymen Faris, 5, Asma Ahmed, 9, Hamzeh Al Badwi, 15, Ateih Abu Mgheiseb, 13, Mahmoud Abu Audeh, 14, Abdul Hadi Hamyeh, 14, Abdul Karim Al-Sa’di, 16. They also include the four members of the same family, Ruedah Al-Hjain, 55, and both of her sons and their cousin near Jabalia in Gaza. They also include the killing of 5 people who were blown to smithereens after a missile attack on civilian cars in Tubas near Jenin. Burham and Osama Daraghmeh, 6 and 12 were among those killed. They also include the ambushing and murder of 4 Palestinian laborers in the village of Bani Naem near Hebron, who were killed as they returned home after a hard day at work. >>>
