Hi George, <<Asian stocks responding much less forcefully to the strong US rally than they have usually done in the past>> because we collectively believe the mania is alive and well in the US and there is no need to follow that script for the umpteenth time again;0)

<<Does this imply we have a big catch up move coming in the near future?>>

There is no need for Asian financial market to catch up to the US rally, because the US rally will turn south soon enough. Japan may rally into March, else it is carbonized toast as opposed to regular variety.

<<Or does it mean the Aisian markets will tank badly as soon as the US corrects?>>

Japan may, but I do not believe Asia ex-Japan will except for a short period.

We already have perfectly good but illiquid manufacturing companies in HK trading at 4 times earnings and 10% yield. The US will have to catch down to us:0)

Chugs, Jay
