Fair calls, certainly. [Wow, I never thought to see reason here... then again, I know you <g>]

Moenmac left himself open by rejecting any criticism of ANY CinC... but LOL, I wouldn't defend Clinton's integrity as a man of honour or personal credibility.
As far as it went, I even think the impeachment was legalistically justifiable - I also think it was petty, irrelevant and a gross waste of a very valuable weapon against a PotUS who might genuinely misuse their powers.

Howewver, I distinguish between the man and the leader. I could care less about someone's personal peccadilloes - so long as those don't disrupt or destroy his policies and leadership of the country, or subvert the office for personal gain or the illicit advancement of aims without national oversight or consent.
There's a huge difference in both degree and kind between the 'crimes' of a Clinton (adultery? puh-lease...) and a Nixon, or for that matter a Poindexter or a North...
