Democracy is doomed in the US.. Bush gives financial breaks to his big corporate donors by relaxing laws on corporations and giving tax breaks to America's wealthies individuals. There aren't any benefits for the middle class or the poor. For example, Bush refused to intervene yesterday to extend unemployment benefits to one million Americans. Nothing can be done for the unemployed until Congress meets in Januaury. Maybe, now people will begin to see why we compare Bush to Darth Vader.
