This is 6 months old but is a reasonable breakdown of book to bill versus actual orders in the semiconductor industry. an interesting datapoint on the B to B chart is the low from 2001. we are apparently nearing the low from 2001 right now with no signs of letting up.

I posted the semi numbers from last year. There were similar lows in January...right at the top.
