Wow, cool! I too promote my father to spend and enjoy. I've made mine and will be fine with out his. I'm hoping she will come to visit in the US some time soon, but she complains that it is a long tiring journey. So I say fly business class take sleeping pills or whatever it's only about double the regular price (Business class that is)... but that seems like an extravagance to her still... well she was born in the Great Depression in a working class area of Sydney, some people don't get saving money out of their minds. She donated some money to the hospital where my father was treated before he died this year (June 1) - you could buy about 3/4 of her apartment for that :). Mainly she is tied up in bureaucracy at the moment still. She was hoping to take a trip for the first time in years (while my father was sick she didn't want to leave him to travel at all) to visit friends in Britain where she used to live that's been postponed even, so we will see.....
