You think I should know this while giving
respect to you and your opinions about free speech, and other interesting
subjects.

You're close, but I never asked you to give me or my opinions respect.

As to me, I don't really care whether you respect me or not. Why should I?

As to the opinions I put forward, you are free to respect them or not, depending on whether you find the argument worthy of respect or not.

This distinction is quite easy for any capable reader to make. I find no difficulty in reading a book where I have limited respect for author as a person but find that I respect his or her ideas. I would think it terribly constraining to be limited to respecting ideas only when I also knew enough about the author to first decide that I respected him or her.

As to the rest of your restatement, it's just your typical ploy of trying to twist around the ideas of others to create a straw man you can then try to destroy, and I choose not to play that game.
