Econ numbers, earnings, forward guidance...none of these things have effected stock prices anyway. Otherwise we wouldn't be anywhere near where we are.

A couple times per year, a train starts moving in anticipation of good econ numbers several months in the future. Then, when it becomes clear that such good news will not be forthcoming, we sell off again to lower lows.
Eventually, one of these buying locomotives will start rolling and actually get the fuel it needs to keep going.

"Everything has been said before, but since nobody listens we have to keep going back and beginning all over again."
