It seems that the FED is going on a hideous manipulation trip --- propping up the stock market -- to give impression all is OK in the economy -- to lure J6P to buy heavily during this holiday season, on more debt of course, to avoid a slow retail sales in hope the economy will recover.

Just can not figure it out. People out of work at record # over capacity all over, steep health care inflation as is inflation in the cost of other services, double digit inflation in RE and ....... spending on investment shrinking......... so what is the game plan more debt on unnecessary gadgets ?

Reminds me of AG response when asked in Y2K if there is a bubble in the stock market - his response - no as thousand of analysts deem the market as undervalued.

Plain crazy
