"...how could it be predictable, and therefore how could it facilitate trust?

The sixty-four billion dollar question. People earn trust by demonstrating a practice of honesty in their dealings. We use various means of determining the the predictability that a person will behave honestly. Some times we use stupid ways to determine trust. (ex: he smiled at me=he will care for me; maybe he just wants to do you and foggetabottid). We also use the word lend. As in, we lend trust to another person. It is in some ways an investment in another person. As with economic investments we benefit by some and lose with others. Some involve big risks (marriage, intimate secrets) others involve small risks (loan you the money for a pepsi, or I'll call ya). There is some level of trust in every human dealing where an expectation or responsibility exists.

I think we could work on the topic to establish some pretty strong predicters. I also think there are experts at deceit who can hack the best system.

Hi X,

We finally found "Orlando", on the internet catalog of available films to check out from our local library.. And since they now have a branch not that far from us, we can get it really easy, We put it on hold, so they will call us when it arrives at our local branch...

Another good thing was we checked our "status of outs", sort of speak, on the internet, and found we had forgot something we had out.. It will be due on Sunday, so we still have time to return it..

That is what the internet should be about..People using it for passing information out, from local to international, locally like our water concerns, but others also have stuff swirling around them, if only they got off their ass and looked out their window, looked around.

Not worthless boring personal pissing matches that mean nothing, that just take up storage space.. I can not believe all those involved, especially those that pick SIDES, those can not get a life, but go on and on ad nausem.. Most of them appear conservative to me.. I think there must be a common denominator there..

Anyway, we also checked out "Outside Providence" that sounds funny.. I hope so.
