I am an independent who usually votes Republican, it depends on the candidate, The older I get, the more conservative I become, but I can't agree with the loosening of air pollution standards that was just approved. There was a study in Japan released recently. When they reduced the air pollution, guess what, LESS PEOPLE DIED! Do you think in a hundred years that people will think we were smart to pollute the atmosphere? Somehow, I doubt it. Too many business interests are tied up with both parties and it helps to prevent common sense legislation from getting passed. Maybe I should start the "Common Sense" party?
