Precisely this has been suggested by some all the way through, since the initial move of this particular phase of the Commerzwaffe assault, August 2001 .... put forward again quite forcefully this very week by someone, i forget who, no time to look it up right now, i'm late for the pub -g- This can only be an interim measure though - anything that bleeds forestry here is going to be deleterious to health of the producers, and distorting to the market [which is, well duh, exactly what the mafiosos want] ... the whole pine lobby position is based on falsehood, this can be readily deduced using simple logic - If we're so subsidised, why ain't we rich?
