IMHO saving Russia is a major and most important task for the US after Saddam is toppled. It will be very foolish long term to ignore Russia which could be a counter balance on the US side against France and Socialist Germany not to mention China.

The fall of Russia will prompt troubles in Korea and Taiwan as China northern flank will be secure by the diminishing Russian influence and possible internal unrest.

Wonder if the Bush administration has the capacity to understand this geo-political aspect and not cave in to the interests of BIG OIL
