We were in Eastern moutain Sports last evening and my wife filled up a shopping cart.At the checkout she asked if any sales were coming up? They said next week, 20% off but they would give it to her right now. Maybe all you have to do is ask! We bought! <<Zoe's price on a table we've been drooling over for 2 years is down ~20%. perhaps because we were the first (potential) customers they'd seen in nearly two hours? anyway, we didn't buy it, waiting for another 20%.>>

sounds like Newbury is kinda empty these days?? funny i live 7 blocks away and haven't been there in 2 months. if you're shopping for furniture, check out Dovetail; its on Clarendon between Boyleston & Newbury. beautiful stuff. my wife builds her own furniture but we're gonna buy some from them (waiting, of course, for another 20% off <g>) fwiw, desert at Finale and drinks at the Oak Bar are still REALLY expensive -- seems no deflation in chocolate mousse or single-malt scotch Cheers
