Acknowledge it, Scott? Hell, I'm trading it. Just unloaded a couple of thousand shares from the 3s.

I've still got a core position underwater. The canary lives to fight again?

Hi Scott,

I guess your "attitude" means that you are feeling better. That is good. I would worry about my lack of explanation for KLIC's rise if it were the only beaten down stock to show such a rise. There are many others. I suspect most of the volatility reflects technical factors aided by the fundamentals.

When you say "KLIC's rally will likely continue for many months" do you also expect the NAS, the SOXX, and the semi-equip sector to continue to rally for many months?

SI wide there is a complete and total lack of postings towards specific stock threads. Not just on KLIC. Near complete silence from investors that might be following specific companies, and company specifics. Its been this way for about 3 whole years now. It is nothing new.

Only the speculators remain active with SI postings on their respective personal favorite "Flip Em and Flop Em 100X a Day" thread. And these speculators don't care nothing about posting to a specific stock thread; since the stock of the day changes with the wind, and minute by minute.

Nothing like a highly leveraged balance sheet in a highly cyclical industry -- on the way down, or on the way up. <g> So why is its reported beta lower than AMAT, KLAC or NVLS? I suppose because it is not in the index funds and not as liquid.

>> or within the cadre of equipment-stock followers in particular, to acknowledge a 25%+ jump in KLIC

It was 2 in Oct. which makes it a 200% increase.

Must mean the market thinks they'll be "the AMAT of the backend".
