Why would you be a sucker? One does what one wants to do. Unless you did what you did while relying on something CH said, which then proved to be false. What exactly were you relying on that did not pan out for you? That isn't at all clear from your post.

If you can't stand the heat in taking a stand, stay on the sidelines. Many people do. But to get off the sidelines and then complain about it later seems silly. IMO
