THE ONLY THING THAT TODAY"S YOUTH KNOWS ABOUT THE US CONSTITUTION IS THAT ITS OK TO READ PORN !!!! Who knows, maybe they'll become resistant to takeover of our media by commercial and government influences, and find decent sense of community. The reaction has been to withdraw from government and politics as indecent and unworthy, a steady decline in participation since one historical point, the assassination of JFK, which damaged relevency of media and government. This is unfortunately beneficial to incumbant politicians and commercial and military sponsors, who have one less constituency to worry about, and prefer the older, less idealistic groups who can be more easily threatened. When the media was treated respectfully as "the commons", there were community standards of equal-time and decency that provided at least some balance against programmed vulgarity and manipulation. Currently, it's a free-for-all by insiders, who find it easier to get legislation passed to pick our pockets if they distract us with the daily screamers, train wrecks and brothels, to crowd out any intelligent objections.
