well, for me that would work out pretty well...I think that the semis are close to topping out anyway.

I hope you don't think thats "new" news... the 50% decline number is from peak (last year) and it isn't just KLAC, its also applied (and probably other semiequips), who are also forecasting 50% down and coincidentally have cut staff to the levels of 50% of peak also. Applied has a 2 week shutdown in December and a 1 week shutdown in Nov, these were announced a while ago... the only change I know of is the flat panel people are working through the period so their orders must be ok.
