Most importantly i want them to get it the highest rated opponent they can get. The winner of the USC/NotreDame came would be neat if they could get that---you know any bowl would very very much want a PSU/USC or PSU/ND game,as ratings would be superior.
Regards the season, we can't take the championship from OhioState, 13-0. That they beat us 13-7 is because they have a great defense, they beat us without OT, and without controversy.
The idea they lost because Zach Mills had terrible day is because opposition QBs against OSU have been having a terrible day in all the OSU games.
They have ,actually, a great secondary because Gamble may just be the 2nd coming of Deion Sanders.
Iowa crushed Michigan, just plain kicked their butt; so in honesty i have to pick us as #3 in a very excellent Big Ten season.
And yes i view PSU better than Michigan.
But given our schedule and scores i think we truly should be in the top 8 in the BSU ratings, and will be appalled if we are not. A rating in the top 8 will get us a match up with winner of USC/ND winner.
Our 3 defeats are OT to Iowa(#3 in the country, now that Wash State lost. And 13-7 to the #2 team. If it wasn't for that disputed loss to Michigan in OT, we would be ranked #6 or #7 in AP polls now.)
Our biggest threat for our getting the bowl game we want is Michigan(the BSU rating has got to compute the fact Michigans got beat bad by Iowa and we went to OT).Max
