Gene, re NDX deletions. I read somewhere, (but can't remember where), that NASDAQ is looking not only to delete a bunch of pennies, but is actually looking to shift the focus of NDX, i.e., that the deleted tech companies will not be replaced with other techs. I think the article I saw said many would be replaced with banks. Do you have any info along these lines? TIA, augie

Who are the additions?
What is the effective date?
How much in advance or after do index funds have to switch?

You guys will have to find the rest out on your own because what I did was read this report that was out about 2 months ago, and copy the list of deletions. I recall that the prediction for last years restructuring was right on, so I took the list down. I don't know the exact date, nor the additions..yet.

That does indicate they might be reducing tech weighting in the NDX, that would be quite significant, especially to QQQ. Max
