The Serbian ethnic cleansing is your best argument there. Even in that example, the Serbians weren't targeting only the Bosnian and Albanian Muslims but engaged in ethnic cleansing against Croats as well. Indeed, most of the ethnic groups in the former Yugoslavia engaged in some ethnic cleansing against the others.

The Russian/Chechnyan conflict is over independence. I think the Russians are responding to Chechnya's violent independence movement. There are other Muslim minority groups in Russia and they don't seem to be the victims of "rampant rapings". The Palestine conflict continues because the Muslim side rejected a peace agreement. The Gulf War was a result of Iraq's aggression against Kuwait.
