Is it possible to convert paper Euros into Marks at a local numismatic coin shop?

I have no idea. But now that you asked the question I looked up how long the opposite direction is possible:

Euro-Banknoten (FAQ)
bundesbank.de

Deutsche Mark has an unlimited validity and can be exchanged to euro at branches of the Bundesbank. Interesting to note which countries have announced a limited validity of their old currency: Greece, France, Italy, Portugal, Finland.
