Q) How can an exit trade be predetermined? It is impossible to know if a trade will be a gain or loss once the trade is made until closed.

A) It's the rules that are predetermined, not the trade. A simple predetermined rule might be "exit the trade exactly 90 days after it was opened".

Q) What if Al is unfortunate this go round and he finds losses continue to increase greater than 40%. What then?

A) Then Al will know that those particular rules failed. And he will still be up for the year by a very long way.

"since I have been dead on the money since early October you have never acknowledged my calls"

Your calls are useless until they produce a profit on average over a period of time. If you are bullish all the time and the market goes up occasionally, then.. well.. let me just say "stopped clock"

"From the moment you came on MITA all you did was declare Rydex irrelevant and declare your P/C analysis and QQQ analysis never wrong"

I made no such declaration. Anyway, what the hell has MITA got to do with this thread. If you have a problem with a discussion on the MITA thread, then bring it up over there, not here.

"Now the tables are turned and the market has gone against you and your trades"

Big deal, it's happened before and it will happen again. You have to adapt and not make the same mistake twice. If you repeatedly predict "The Motherlode of all bull markets" all the way thru a bear market then you will get burned. After being burned once, many people will get wise, or at least careful. Once bitten, twice shy, thrice just plain dumb. You predict a meltup constantly and then come out with retro trades where you claim to have made up for all your losses with options, except you forget to tell us of the trades until afterwards LOL!

Once more you will get burned with your current long positions, and I will continue to make money.

Anyway, Al has used up all his buying power with trades that are currently open, and according to his badly formed rules are unlikely to be closed anytime soon so this thread will be dead for a while. You provide good entertainment and contrary signals so feel free to post here. Then when Al gets these trades closed and is back on track with profitable trades, I will ban you from this thread because you have nothing to offer me that I can make money from.

But don't expect me to waste any more time or space on this thread by replying to you. If you have some misinterpretations of something said on the MITA thread then bring it up over there where it can be put into its proper context.
